Home care visits, also called domiciliary care, bring support to your door at set times. Visits can be as short or as long as you need and can be increased or reduced as things change.
What a visit can include
- Getting up, washing, dressing and getting ready for bed
- Medication support
- Preparing meals and drinks
- Light housework and laundry
- Help with shopping and appointments
- A friendly face and a chat
Paying for care
You can arrange visits privately, or your care may be arranged through Hampshire County Council or Southampton City Council following a needs assessment. We are happy to explain the options.
